About Project Warmth

Our Organization

Tens of thousands of people in New York City alone live in either homeless shelters or on the street and these numbers only increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Necessities that were hard to attain before became nearly impossible to get, so we decided to do everything in our power to distribute goods to the homeless population. Created by high schoolers at the time, Lindsay and Rachel, it has come immensely far. In its early stages, Project Warmth was focused on collecting funds and coats to be donated to homeless shelters across NYC, but has since expanded to clothing and hygiene items.
